Did you know that Fresno Deaf Church (FDC) has one of the largest Deaf congregations in the state? Here are a few reasons why –
  • Pastor Keith Catron, who is Deaf himself, delivers God's word in ASL. The combination of having direct communication, in depth knowledge of the Bible and his gift for presenting his message in a way that relates to our everyday life, makes some very complicated scripture come to life and easier to comprehend. Pastor Keith's kindness and unassuming manner make him a very approachable person and someone with whom you would enjoy having fellowship.
  • FDC congregation has an outstanding collection of men, women and young adults, the majority of whom are Deaf. We have a very welcoming and comfortable feel because we are deaf focused, even though we have many cherished hearing members in our congregation. We welcome everyone to join us and be part of our family. We are a very supportive congregation of Christian brothers and sisters who are always willing to lend a hand.
  • FDC is proud to have a Men's and a Women's Ministry. The ministries have been busy serving by hosting fundraising events, for example, our "Luau" or "Chili Dinner," or preparing meals and scheduling visits to a sick or injured church member. We also host Bowl-A-Thons which gives the money raised to different community groups that serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.
  • FDC Youth Group has kept busy with fellowship and activities, such as ice skating, laser tag, or hosting a car wash fundraiser. They also have provided great support by rolling up their sleeves and assisting with a variety of church events.
