Cindy was born into a Christian family and grew up in the lovely town of Los Gatos located in the Bay Area. She attended Valley Christian School, West Valley College and San Jose State University. As a kid she loved sports, especially gymnastics and swimming. With 3 brothers and one sister she had the typical active family life. A favorite vacation spot was Mt. Hermon where her family attended almost every year of her life.

At the age of 20 Cindy heard a definite call from God to ministry. While reading John 10:10 (I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly) she knew that God has something in store. Soon after, she joined the choir at church (to help her mom become more active), then was recruited to the Junior High ministry as a counselor. It was non-stop from there with Waterski Camp, Worship Leading, Aerobic s and Capture the Flag all for ministry, of course.

In 1987 Vin came to her church to help out in the music ministry. They dated for 8 months and were married on August 20, 1988. Less than a year later they went on their first Continental Singers tour. While he pursued a music degree, she worked full-time for Calvary Church in many different positions for several pastors. Cindy especially enjoyed working for the Missions Pastor who taught her so much about ministry.

In nearly 20 years of marriage Vin and Cindy have served together in eight churches, moved nine times, and three of those moves were in less than one month! With 3 active boys, her life is rarely boring. When she finds time, Cindy loves to read, work in the yard, build things and sew.
