I was born in El Salvador and came
to the US when I was 14 years old. We moved from San Jose to Madera
where I finished High School and then went on to Fresno Pacific to pursue a
medical career.
I became a Christian at about 18
years old at my parent's church in Fresno. (Spanish Speaking)
The time at Pacific is what I believe had the greatest impact in my life.
Through the college I got connected with people who encouraged me to travel
on at least three missionary trips. One of those trips led me back to
El Salvador where I met my wife, Cecy.
After graduating from Pacific, God
led me to serve in the ministry and my medical career was left behind.
After experiencing the joy and rewards of being a Pastor, there was nothing
else I really wanted to do, but to teach the Word of God.
