A native of Texas and proud A&M alum, he
currently serves as Communications Director. After slaving away for the last 100
years (he says that phrase a lot) for various corporate machines as a
professional designer, Sam joined the Bridge staff in July of 2005 after
relocating from East Texas. Things may never be the same!
Sam became a follower of Jesus in second grade and truly learned to trust Him
completely just a few years ago since God is very patient with him. He is also
the proud husband of Sheryl, proud dad of Emily and Carter who are the best
children on Earth (he says that a lot too).
As for embarrassing moments, he hopes that no one remembers the time that he
spilled a whole can of bright orange Kern's apricot juice on his lap just before
stepping up to lead worship that one time down in Long Beach circa 1991. If they
don't, it was the time his guitar was mysteriously hanging down by his knees.
Whatever you do, don't get involved with Sam in a conversation involving Lord of
the Rings, the shows Lost, The Office or 24, unless of course you have the time. |
