Carolyn is one of the friendly voices you hear when you call The Bridge. She was born and raised in Hanford, California and never looked back once she began school at Fresno State. She was sitting by the fountain at Fresno State when someone shared the "Four Spiritual Laws" booklet from Campus Crusade with her. That very day, she prayed to invite Jesus into her life and she was completely transformed from that day forward.

Later, during her time in college, she met Rich in a small group at a church here in Fresno and interestingly enough, they had their first date at a theater one block away from where she works now. She and Rich were married on her birthday later that same year and began their family. She has two sons who both were married here (Jeff to Kelly in 2001 and Jon to Jolie in 2005). Carolyn and Rich have attended The Bridge since 1986 and have served faithfully in many different ministries here.

Carolyn became one of our receptionists in 1999 and truly enjoys getting to interact with all of the people she meets in that capacity. She states "It's been a blessing to me and I feel as though the church has become my second family."

Some of her favorite things are chocolate, reading, eating out, spending time with her family, watching sports and traveling to new places.
