Nickname: Debi (at least for this decade, I have been known to spell it different ways, but hey it is a nickname)

Interesting Fact: Debi has her own 10-inch telescope in her living room and she's not afraid to use it.

Debi was born in San Jose, California and spent the first two years of her life living in a mortuary where her dad worked as the mortician. When she was 2, Debi's family moved to Napa, and then to Fresno when she was 9. Debi accepted Christ as her personal Savior at age 15 through the ministry of Campus Life.

Debi married her high school sweetheart, Fred. They both attended Bullard High School, where he was a year ahead of her. Debi and Fred both attended Fresno State where Debi received a BS degree in Child Development. Debi says she graduated the same day as Pastor Scott even though he ditched the graduation ceremonies (the first one at Bulldog Stadium) to get married instead.

Debi and Fred celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 2005. They have three children; Stephanie age 24 married to Josh, Denise age 21 and Aaron age 19. All three of the Lusk children also graduated from Bullard High. Go Knights!!! Their family has attended The Bridge Evangelical Free Church for 20 years.

Debi has taught preschool, private elementary school and has worked retail on and off part-time while raising her kids. She has volunteered or worked for pay in most of the positions that she now oversees at The Bridge, including Nursery Coordinator, Sparks Director, T & T Leader, Preschool Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, and children's ministry volunteer. Debi loves children and the joy of teaching them physically, mentally, and spiritually. She loves working with God's people and helping them to use their spiritual gifts.
