Stephanie was born and raised in Fresno, CA. She came to know Jesus at a young age and was blessed to grow up in a home with parents who love Jesus. She can't remember a time when she didn't go to church.

God began to show Stephanie his heart for people at an annual event called Operation Good News (OGN) that is put on by The Bridge between her junior and senior year of high school. Stephanie played basketball, and was able to share Christ with her teammates through the way she lived her life. Stephanie went on to attend college at California State University, Fresno and graduated with a degree in political science. Throughout her years in college, God continued to work on Stephanie's heart, showing her His love for people and giving her a passion for missions through many different circumstances, including outreach opportunities, OGN, and missions trips to El Salvador

After college, Stephanie moved to Washington DC to do an internship at a lobbying firm. God was once again at work in Stephanie as she grew not only to have a passion for those who were at the ends of the earth, but also for those in her own backyard... Fresno. She was hired on as a regulatory paralegal, but after Christmas never made it back to the East Coast! God had different plans! She was called to be the Coordinator of External Focus at The Bridge in May 2007.
